SAN DIEGO CLUB - 2010 SEASON Information will be posted by February 1, 2010 for the 2010 season. Most tryouts will begin about March 1 at various sites throughout the county. The season extends from March through May. The 2010 Starlings National Championship is optional and will be help June 18 -20.
We are currently looking for new coaches. Interested persons should contact Byron Shewman at 619-651-1870 or byron@starlings.org
An organization meeting for all club directors (and new interested clubs) will be held at 6:00 pm, Sunday, January 10, at San Diego City College.
Two coaches' clinics will be held on Sundays, February 21 and February 28, 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm, at San Diego City College (Harry West Gym). The first session is designed for inexperienced coaches and the second is for experienced. Both clinics will be directed by Starlings Coaching Director, Tod Mattox.

We are going to have an information/organization meeting on Friday Feb 26th at 6 pm at Mission Bay Gym. We plan on having 3 teams again 18 and under, 16 and under and 14 and under. We will have a 12 and under team if there is enough interest. The first practice will start the following Tuesday March 2nd, 6:00pm, barring a basketball play-off game. Practices are Tuesday and Thursday 6-8pm at the MB Gym. Please download the player registration forms from this website and bring the completed forms to the meeting or the first practice. We expect to close registration and form our teams March 7th. All girls will have had to turn in their registration packet, make the initial payment of $225 and attend a minimum of one work-out to qualify for placement on a team.
