REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS:

If you complete the three steps, then come to tryouts 30 minutes before your age group

If you cannot do any of these, then come 60 minutes before your age group

 

Registrations, forms and waivers are handled using 'Leagueapps' software through our affiliation with Starlings USA.

PRINT & COMPLETE YOUR MEDICAL RELEASE FORM

  • Please bring insurance information to tryouts if this is not completed

STEP 3

Register WITH USA VOLLEYBALL 

 

A fall/tryout membership or full membership IS REQUIRED FOR TRYOUTS

bring your Membership card, or a photo/screenshot of it, to tryouts

 

Requirements for Tryouts

Please do these ahead of time! If you cannot, you must arrive one hour early for tryouts.

  • Madison Starlings Club Registration Form 2023 -2024

  • Medical Release form (please bring insurance information to tryouts if this is not completed)

  • USAV Badger Region fall/tryout membership or full membership (bring your Membership card (or a photo/screenshot of it) to tryouts).

  • If you quality for Free/Reduced Lunch we will do this for you at registration prior to tryouts (come early!)

14 & UNDER TRYOUT INFORMATION from USA Volleyball

 

1. Membership Cards - membership cards are now digital in Sports Engine. They can be added to Apple Wallet or Google Pay, but there is not an option to print the membership card. If a member is utilizing a 2022-2023 (valid through 10/31/23) membership for tryouts, they can still access their webpoint account, go to "member area", "print membership card".

 

2. Memberships - The tryout membership no longer exists. 2022-23 memberships that expire 10/31/23 are still valid for 14 & under tryouts. If needed, direct your members to purchase the Fall Junior Membership, for $15. This is valid through 12/31/23 and can be upgraded later.

If they have any questions on membership ask them to contact us at membership@badgervolleyball.org BEFORE they complete the purchase process; NO REFUNDS.

  • Full Junior Membership in Badger Region

  • Complete required Concussion Training/Acknowledgement (State of Wisconsin)

  • Parent Fact Sheet

  • Athlete Fact Sheet

  • Parent/Athlete Acknowledgement

  • Review USA Volleyball SafeSport

  • Review the Madison Starling Handbook

  • Pay dues and/or sign up for volunteer events in lieu of dues

  • Sign Madison Starlings Volleyball Club contract
